Halls Crossing, with its marinas and nearby campgrounds, makes for a great starting point in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. From Bullfrog Bay and Reflection Canyon to the San Juan River and Forbidding Canyon’s Rainbow Bridge National Monument, the region has so much to offer further northeast of Lake Powell.

The iconic Rainbow Bridge is one of the best destinations. It can be reached by personal boats though cruises are offered from Halls Crossing (and also the nearby Bullfrog and Wahweap marinas). It can also be reached by foot or horseback through Navajo Nation, though permits are required for either of those options.
The Halls Crossing Marina is also an RV park and campground with space enough for 31 RVs with full hookups and also 41 primitive campsites. Both are great home bases for your time in the area.
